 We are a Homeschool support group with a heart for encouraging families during all the home education years--preschool, elementary, junior high, and senior high school--with Biblical faith and values.
SCONES exists to provide a place where Christian families living in Fremont county Colorado, home educating independent of government control, can support one another with their God given resources, time and talents for encouragement, accountability, academic, social and service opportunities.
Support Meetings: Mom's Coffee meetings are hosted. Special speakers, forums and other informational topics are planned.
Newsletter: Schones publishes a newsletter, or email news list, that details the upcoming events and activities.
Field Trips: Schones arranges a wide variety of educational field trips throughout the year for that helps us all get group rates for our members.
Library: A lending library of many books, cassette tapes, magazines, videos, and other resources pertaining to homeschooling is provided free of charge to all members.
Academic Competitions: Each year, Schones sponsors a ........, ......., science fair, and project & performance night.
